Prior to joining Battery in 2009, Mr. Favero he spent four years as a member of the private equity team at Audax Group, investing nearly $200 million of equity capital across 13 companies.
While at Audax, he also co-founded and ran the firm’s Asia Pacific office.
Located in Shenzhen, China, this office was established to improve portfolio operating efficiencies and focus on transactions in Greater China.
Before joining Audax, Mr. Favero held positions as an investment banker with CIBC World Markets and D.A.
Davidson & Co. While providing M&A and financing advisory services to clients as a member of CIBC’s healthcare team, he executed 15 transactions totaling over $2.8 billion in aggregate value.
Representative sectors included medical devices, healthcare services, and biotechnology.
He began his career at D.A.
Davidson, working with the generalist M&A team to consummate five transactions across the consumer products, financial services and technology sectors.
Mr. Favero received a BS in International Finance from the Marriott School at Brigham Young University.
