Mr. James M.
Ferguson
is Head of Strategy at Westhouse Securities Ltd.
He joined Pali International as Chief Strategist in 2005, bringing with him in excess of 20 years' industry experience.
Prior joining Pali, he worked at Japanese bank MUFJ, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, SBC Warburg (now UBS), and Robert Fleming (now part of J.P.
Morgan).
Predominantly based in London he spent three years living in Tokyo where he witnessed that country's banking crisis firsthand.
Prior to his role as a Strategist, he was a distinguished Japanese sector analyst covering seven stocks for which he was Bloomberg-ranked #1 on five and #3 on another.
He has been a regular contributor to Money Week, the UK's best-selling financial magazine, and he is a semi-permanent member of its monthly Investment Roundtable.
He appears frequently on TV and radio, commenting on financial market matters primarily for the BBC.
Mr. Ferguson graduated from Edinburgh University with a master's degree in Economics.
