James Fernandez has been an Executive Director of NCSRT, Inc. since 2008.
He is Chairman of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium.
Prior to joining NCSRT, Mr. Fernandez served as Business Manager in Physics and Astronomy, Chief Financial Officer and Administration Interim Assistant Director at CAMD and Assistant Graduate School Dean and Graduate Admissions Director, Director and Principal Investigator of Law Enforcement Online, Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and Vice Provost for Fiscal Affairs in the Office of Academic Affairs.
Previously, he held senior management positions at the University of Vermont, the State University of New York, Arizona State University, LSU Health Sciences Center and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department.
Mr. Fernandez began his career at Louisiana State University in 1991.
He served in the US Air Force as Missile Combat Crew Commander at Ellsworth Air Force Base.
Mr. Fernandez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Business Analysis in 1983 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management in 1985 from Louisiana State University and an MBA in 1988 from the University of South Dakota.
