Mr. Paduano began his career in 1967 practicing corporate and banking law at the New York firm of Shearman and Sterling.
He moved to Lazard Freres & Co. in 1972 where he became General Partner, and Managing Director.
At Lazard he was engaged in the Debt and Leasing financial advisory business and the Private Investment business.
He was President of Institutional Leasing Inc., Lazard's leasing subsidiary, and was a pioneer in equipment and aircraft leasing.
Most recently, he was co-general partner of the real-estate investment company, Gramercy Court Associates.
Currently, Mr. Paduano is a Director of DayJet Corporation, in Boca Raton, Florida.
He is also the managing member of other private investment companies, including the lender and investor in Summers Estates Winery in Calistoga, California.
Memberships include the University Club in New York City and the Short Hills Club in Short Hills, New Jersey.
Mr. Paduano is a graduate of Georgetown University and Columbia Law School.
