Irene Susmano

Irene Susmano, Co-Founding Partner, Arc Ventures and Chief Investment Officer of The Arc Companies, a group active across asset classes and geographies.
Irene has been involved in banking, finance, real estate and investment activities on both the capital seeker and capital provider side for over 30 years.
Since the beginning of the Arc Companies’ venture operations, Irene has been co-heading the investment process, building strong relationships in the startup ecosystem across the US and Israel.
Irene has actively invested in technology venture funds and companies across the US, Israel and Europe from seed to late-stage.
Irene serves on the investment committee of Arc Ventures.
Prior to joining Arc, Irene spent ten years at Citibank and Banco Itau, one of the largest private Brazilian banks.
Irene received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University and her Masters of International Affairs in International Business/ Latin American Studies from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
Irene speaks English, Spanish, French and some Hebrew.
