Ms. Iliana A.
Perez is a Senior Vice President at Gurtin Fixed Income Management LLC.
She is responsible for the surveillance and credit analysis on a variety of municipal entities including local governments, health care, and higher education entities and states.
She is also responsible for publishing credit reports, training new analysts, and other related duties of the credit research team.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Perez spent nearly seven years at Moody’s Investors Service, where she covered general obligation, appropriation, special tax-backed securities, and essential service revenue bonds across a variety of states for the U.S.
Regional Public Finance group.
During her time with Moody’s, she was a member of the national Rating Committee, served as a state lead, trained new analysts, and wrote or contributed to several publications and methodologies.
She received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago.
