Established in 1995, JAMZ is based in Zurich and is locally known as Jefferies Vermögensverwaltung AG. The firm provides investment management and advisory services, specializing in international convertible bonds. Their clients are European public-sector institutions, high-net worth individuals, and pension funds, in particular pension funds related to large European companies. Jeffries Switzerland manages discretionary institutional portfolios and a Luxembourg-domiciled umbrella fund specialized in convertibles, with country-specific sub-funds. The firm's founding followed the 1993 development of benchmarks for the global convertibles market in the form of the Jefferies Active Convertible Indexes (JACI).
