Mr. Mackie joined as a Venture Partner at Noro-Moseley Partners in 2009 and he is also Non-Executive Chairman at Adaptivity, Inc. Mr. Mackie was previously employed as Head-Public Relations by Insource Performance Solutions LLC, Chief Executive Officer by Computer Management Services, Inc., and Chief Executive Officer by Network Computing, Inc. He retired from the day-to-day operations of the business after the business was sold to Colville Capital in 2008 and is now a director.
From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Mackie was with the Wakefield Group, a Charlotte-based investment firm, where he was a Venture Partner and Entrepreneur-in-Residence.
Prior to Wakefield Group, He was the founder and CEO of DBS Systems Corporation, the exclusive provider of billing and customer care services to DIRECTV, Inc. DBS worked with DIRECTV from the inception of its business and was an integral player in the launch of DIRECTV’s digital satellite pay TV business in 1994.
Prior to DBS, He was the CEO of several information systems and software companies that specialized in high volume, mission critical, transaction processing systems.
Mr.Mackie received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina.
