Geoff Watson

Mr. Geoffrey K.
Watson, CFA, is a Managing Director at TD Asset Management, Inc. He joined in February 2007 and currently Head of Investment Grade Credit Research.
He specializes in sovereign/country risk.
Mr. Watson was previously employed as Security Analyst by CIBC World Markets, Inc. He has over 21 years industry experience.
His experience includes time as an Investment Analyst on the buy side with a major Canadian insurance company, and on the sell side as Executive Director in both the Corporate Debt Research and subsequently Debt Origination areas with a major Canadian dealer.
In addition to his responsibilities at TDAM, Mr. Geoffrey Watson served as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Credit Valley Hospital from 2007 to 2009, a Board that he served on since February 2000.
He is also a member of the Canadian International Council (Toronto), and the Institute of International Finance's Special Committee on financial Crisis Prevention and Resolution (Washington, D.C.).
He holds an Hons.
B.A.
from the University of Western Ontario (1989), M.A.
from the University of Toronto (1991), M.Phil.
from Cambridge University (1992), and he is a CFA charter holder and he holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
