Mr. Fred Perreten is Executive Director at Sunrise Securities Corp.
Prior to joining Sunrise in September 2009, he was the Senior CRE Credit Officer for NatCity’s CMBS originations desk located in Stamford, CT and led the team that brought a 2,000-loan small-balance pool to market.
Prior to that, he was a Director in the CMBS group at Fitch Ratings, where he rated deals from all of the major shelves and helped develop the firm’s small-balance rating methodology.
He was at Broad Street Advisors for over three years where he marketed commercial real estate on behalf of institutional investors.
In addition, he was the risk manager for Nomura Securities’ CMBS desk in the late 1990s', when Nomura was the leading CMBS originator.
He started his career at REIS, where he helped develop cash flow forecasting methodologies for RTC CRE loan pools.
Mr. Perreten graduated from Hamilton College in 1988 and earned an MBA in Finance from NYU in 1996.
