Mr. Florian Schaefer is a Managing Director at Blackstone Group and Blackstone Group in the Real Estate Group.
Since joining Blackstone in 2004, Mr. Schaefer has been involved in over $10 billion of real estate acquisitions, disposals, and financings across all property types in Europe and Asia.
Since 2010, he has been involved in the Real Estate Group’s expansion in Asia including sourcing and executing investments in Australia, Singapore, Korea and Greater China.
Most recently he has played a key role in building Blackstone Real Estate’s core plus business in Asia.
Mr. Schaefer received an MBA from the EBS University, Germany, where he graduated magna cum laude, and an MSc in Real Estate Finance with distinction from the University of Reading, United Kingdom.
