Femi Osidele

With more than 30 years of experience in engineering, banking, information technology and regulatory analysis, Dr. Olufemi Osidele brings to Cimbria Capital a unique systems-driven approach to business success.
He specializes in identifying and exploring critical, strategic interfaces among diverse policy, technology and organizational functions.
Notably, he deploys advanced systems analysis tools to inform resource planning, project valuation, complex operations management, and sustainable energy integration.
Before joining Cimbria, Dr. Osidele spent 12 years at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas, where he rose to the position of Senior Research Engineer responsible for performance, safety, and environmental compliance assessments of various nuclear energy facilities for the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
He also served as an expert advisor to the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency on matters pertaining to national environmental policy, regulatory management, and technology.
He recently co-chaired a 21-member steering committee that developed the first climate action and adaptation plan for the City of San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Osidele currently serves as San Antonio’s mayoral appointee on the Rate Advisory Committee for the largest municipally-owned electricity and gas utility in the United States, and is a Senior Advisor at Fixed Earth Innovations.
He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, an MSc in Hydrology from Imperial College, University of London, an MS in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado, and a PhD in Forest Resources and Environmental Systems Analysis from the University of Georgia.
