Ellanor Brizendine

Ellanor (“Bodie”) Brizendine has more than 40 years in educational leadership.
Formerly the Head of School for The Spence School in New York City and Marin Academy in the Bay Area, Bodie has also led various national, independent school organizations and has served on numerous non-profit boards such as Teach for America NYC, and Harlem Children’s Zone.
Throughout her career, Bodie has focused on leadership for women, environmental education and design, strategic integration of ESG matters, and board operations and leadership.
Currently Bodie is a partner of RG175, a national search firm for independent school leadership, a mentor for individual, educational leaders and a consultant for other financial services for various projects.
