Edward Hortick

Prior to joining VCFA in 2001, Mr. Hortick was the President and Managing Director of Bank of America Capital Corporation (BACC), where he had general management responsibility for the private equity fund investment business and chaired the BACC investment committee.
He was responsible for the formation of the private equity fund-of-funds business at Bank of America.
Mr. Hortick graduated with a BS in finance from the University of Arizona and received an MBA from the University of Miami.
He also completed the Management Development Program at Emory University.
He is a Certified Financial Planner, a member of the Financial Planning Association and has served on several prominent venture capital, buyout and international fund advisory boards.
