In 2014, Eminence Capital LLC merged with and into Eminence Capital LP, which assumed all the assets, liabilities and obligations of Eminence Capital LLC. The firm provides investment advice to private investment funds and to the owner of separately managed accounts (SMAs).

The firm was founded in 1967 and is a subsidiary of Alliance Capital Management LLC, ultimately held by Equitable Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: EQH). Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. provides trading and executions services to their clients.
