European Commission Joint Research Centre (Spain) (JRC Spain) is the Spain-based investment research division of European Commission Joint Research Centre, ultimately owned by European Union’s European Commission in Belgium. The firm was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Seville. JRC Spain works closely with sister services of the European Commission to provide socio-economic and techno-economic support for the conception, development, implementation and monitoring of EU policies. They conduct policy studies: policy option analysis, as well as developing and running economic models to make projections, perform scenario analysis and policy impact assessments.
