Mr. Fox began his investment career in 1983 as an analyst at the brokerage firm of Moseley, Hallgarten, Estabrook & Weeden.
From 1985 to 1987, Mr. Fox served as an analyst at Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc. From 1988 to 1992 Mr. Fox was a portfolio manager and analyst for Chemical Bank's Private Banking division.
In 1992 Mr. Fox joined Schaenen Wood & Associates, a $1.5 billion asset management firm as a portfolio manager and senior analyst.
In 1995 he co-founded Schaenen Fox Capital Management LLC, a hedge fund focused on small cap value investments, where he served as a portfolio manager.
From 2000 to 2004 Mr. Fox was a Principal and portfolio manager for all-cap and micro-cap hedge fund strategies at Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, LLC.
Mr. Fox graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A.
in economics from the State University of New York at Albany in 1982 and earned his M.B.A.
from New York University in 1988.
Mr. Fox was awarded the CFA designation in 1991.
Mr. Fox joined Ivory Investment Management, L.P.
in January 2006.
