He subsequently completed the Capital Markets Program and became an equity trader on the firm's institutional desk.
After leaving Salomon Smith Barney, he founded the listed trading and capital commitment effort at both SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Avondale Partners where he also served as Managing Director, Head of Trading.
He holds a BS degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
