Mr. Emrick is not only a part of Austin Capital Corp, he is a Senior Vice President and a Director of The TransAction Group, a Cleveland-based investment banking firm.
Previously, he was a Senior Partner with Calfee, Halter & Griswold, a major Cleveland law firm where he served thirty-five years.
He has also specialized in mergers and acquisitions for over thirty years, having worked on an extensive number of business transactions in his career.
Mr. Emrick has served on the board of directors of over thirty-five private companies, and currently is a member of the board of six privately owned companies.
In 1997, he was honored with the Life Time Achievement Deal Maker Award sponsored by the Association for Corporate Growth, Northeast Ohio Chapter.
He also has been awarded the Medal of Merit from Ohio University (1994), Outstanding Achievement Award from College of Business Administration, Ohio University (1995), and Outstanding Alumnus Award, John Marshall Law School, Cleveland State University in 1995.
Formerly, Mr. Emrick served on the Board of Trustees at Ohio University and was a past Chairman.
Mr. Emrick’s education includes a Bachelor degree in business and a Masters degree in journalism from Ohio University and a Juris Doctor degree in law from the Marshall Law School of Cleveland State University.
