Mr. Roberton joined Heward in November 2001.
After graduating from McGill University in 1955, he began his career at Greenshield Inc. as a bond trader, after which he concentrated on the portfolio management sector of the financial industry.
He joined Hodgson Roberton & Laing where he was admitted to full partnership in 1962.
In 1970, Mr. Roberton became a founding partner of Roberton & Associates, which in 1972 joined David Lank and Hamish Macaulay to form Lank Roberton Macaulay.
In 1978 he returned to the brokerage side of the business and joined Wood Gundy as an investment advisor.
In 1991 he joined Richardson Greenshields which later merged with RBC Dominion Securities where he held the position of investment advisor until October 31, 2001.
He is a member of the Investment Policy Committee with a Canadian Securities focus.
