Bjorn Dahlin van Wees

Mr. Bjorn D.
van Wees is an Analyst at Economist Intelligence Unit Ltd.
He is an analyst in the Middle East and Africa team within The Economist Intelligence Unit's Country Analysis division.
In this role, he is responsible for forecasting macroeconomic and political developments and helping clients to assess risks and opportunities in the region.
Prior to joining the EIU, Mr. van Wees worked in country analysis at the World Bank office in Cameroon, at the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in Malaysia and at the EU delegation to India.
He holds an MSc in global politics from the London School of Economics, a BA in politics from the School of Oriental and Africa Studies (SOAS), London and a degree in economics from Birkbeck University, London.
