Solarpack Corporación Tecnológica SA engages in the development of electrical generating projects. Its activities include the development, financing, construction, operation, and management of photovoltaic solar power plants. The firm operates through the following segments: Development & Construction (DevCon), Services (SVCS), and Power Generation (PowerGen). The DevCon segment is related to the identification of sites for establishing solar farms, the management of environmental impact analyses, the obtaining of licences and permits to build and operate, and engineering and construction work on the solar farms. The SVCS segment includes the services provided by the Group in relation to the technical operation and maintenance tasks and commercial and administrative tasks of operational solar plants, such as maintenance in coordination with OEMs, accounting and taxation of project companies, oversight of maintenance agreements, control centres, and others. The PowGen segment is related to the generation and sale of power from operational solar farms, both in controlled companies, such as associates, and in others in which the Group holds an interest. The company was founded by Pablo Burgos Galindez and Jose Maria Galindez Zubiria on July 1, 2005 and is headquartered in Getxo, Spain.
