Mr. Aman Batra is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (Singapore) Pte.
Ltd. He serves as the Head of India Equities and is the Lead Portfolio Manager of our India Equity Strategies.
Prior to assuming his current role, he was the Head of India Equity Research based in Mumbai and has had research coverage for multiple sectors like Utilities, Materials, Industrials, Consumer Staples and Discretionary.
He joined the GSAM India Equity Research team in 2009 and relocated to Singapore in 2025.
Before joining GSAM, he was the lead analyst covering the Power and Cement sectors at Kotak Institutional Equities.
Aman has previously worked at Morgan Stanley with the Equity Research team and at ICICI Bank within the credit risk management group.
He received a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow in 2001 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering in 1999.
