It is a non profit regional non-governmental organization, promoting environmental policies and programs. It issues periodical reports on the state of the environment and natural resources, discuss environmental matters, developing corporate environmental responsibility programs, promotes environmental awareness, and supports networking of environmental non-governmental offices and coordinates joint programs. The company was founded on June 17, 2006 and is headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon.
