Alex Bass

Mr. Alexander Bass is a Managing Director at HighTower Advisors LLC.
Prior to joining HighTower, Mr. Bass spent eight years with Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group.
He worked closely with the Senior Partners on the Private Banking team in determining portfolio structure and presenting investment recommendations to clients.
In addition, he conducted investment and portfolio analysis and was responsible for investment due diligence on third-party money managers, with a particular focus on alternative investments.
Mr. Bass graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in Economics and holds several professional designations, including Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Financial Planner and Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
In addition he is a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association.
