Mr. Aisaku Suzuki was previously worked as a Partner at Integral Corp.
He has been involved in the private equity business since 2000.
At Unison Capital, he executed investments in Tohato (the first pre-packaged civil rehabilitation transaction in Japan), Cosmos Initia (formerly Recruit Cosmos, the recapitalization of a public company) and Covalent Materials Corporation (former Toshiba Ceramics, the largest MBO in manufacturing in Japan).
He has participated in all aspects of transactions including, origination, financing, negotiation, business planning and structuring.
Following these investments he was elected director or auditor of the invested companies and participated in various corporate value enhancement efforts including, strategy formulation, IPO/re-financing, HRM/organization and M&A growth strategy.
He also was responsible for fund raising for Unison Capital Fund.
Before joining Unison, he worked in real estate finance and M&A for J.P.
Morgan in Tokyo and New York.
In real estate finance, he completed Japan's first real estate non-recourse financing and real estate securitization (CMBS).
He also participated in the beginnings of the private equity business in Japan.
Mr. Suzuki acquired BA in Commercial Science at Hitotsubashi University.
