Mr. Adnann Z.
Syed, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director & Head of Derivatives at TD Asset Management, Inc. He joined TD Asset Management in February 2012.
He leads the Synthetics Portfolio Management team and oversees overlay mandates that extensively employ equity, interest rates and FX derivatives.
He works closely with internal and external clients to devise and implement trading solutions.
He is also responsible for research and development of innovative strategies.
Prior to joining TDAM, Mr. Syed worked as a Global Macro Rates and FX strategist at TD Securities Inc., where he developed strategies analyzing market risk premium and economic conditions in the developed economies.
He has also managed Fixed Income portfolios at a leading Canadian pension fund.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Engineering & Technology of Lahore and an MBA from McGill University.
He is a CFA charterholder.
