She was also Managing Director in the fundraising group at Merrill Lynch.
Before joining the private equity world, she spent more than a decade in Leveraged Finance at Merrill Lynch and Chase in both Europe and the US, where she led some of the larger and more complicated deals in the media and telecoms space.
Her deal experience and credit training will bring meaningful insights into our strategy and our portfolio for our investors.
Mrs. McCarthy graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A.
She also earned an M.B.A at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where she was a classmate of Mr. Carver.
She served several years as the Co-Chair of private equity fundraising for CityYear, where she is a Red Jacket Society Member, and additionally has served as a Chair of the Annual Funds at her sons’ previous schools.
