Yunnan Yuntianhua Co., Ltd. (SHSE:600096) agreed to acquire an unknown minority stake in Yunnan Phosphate Chemical Group Co., Ltd. on June 14, 2024. A cash consideration will be paid by Yunnan Yuntianhua Co., Ltd. As part of consideration, an undisclosed value is paid towards common equity of Yunnan Phosphate Chemical Group Co., Ltd.
As of March 31, 2024, Yunnan Phosphate Chemical Group Co., Ltd. reported total assets of CNY 9.7 billion and total common equity of CNY 5.64 billion.
The transaction is subject to approval of offer by acquirer board. The deal has been approved by the board.
Yunnan Yuntianhua Co Ltd is a China-based company principally engaged in the production and sale of fertilizers, chemical raw materials and products, phosphate fertilizers and phosphate mining. The Company is mainly engaged in fertilizer business, phosphate mining business, engineering materials business, coal mining business, trade and logistics business, phosphorus chemical business and new materials business. The Company's main products include urea products, monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, feed-grade calcium phosphate salts, compound fertilizer products, polyoxymethylene and yellow phosphorus. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
