Yuken Kogyo Co., Ltd. (TSE:6393) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 40,000 shares, representing 0.98% of the outstanding shares for ¥66.44 million. The shares will be repurchased at a price of ¥1,661 per share.
The purpose of the program is to carry out agile capital policies that respond to changes in the business environment. As of May 12, 2022, the company had 4,102,268 shares in issue (excluding treasury stock) and 408,408 shares in treasury.
