PLANA Co., Ltd concluded a contract to acquire Taiko Shokuhin Co., Ltd from Y. S. Food Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:3358) for approximately ¥230 million on September 14, 2015. PLANA Co., Ltd will acquire 200 shares of Taiko Shokuhin. Y.S. Foods Co., Ltd reported total assets of ¥160.27 million, net assets of ¥145.95 million, sales of ¥59.99 million, operating profit of ¥5.8 million, current profit of ¥5.9 million and net income of ¥3.66 million during the year ending March 2015. The Board of Y.S. Food Co., Ltd. passed a resolution for the transaction on September 14, 2015. The transaction will result in a gain to Y.S. Food Co., Ltd. The transaction is expected to complete on September 14, 2015.
