Keith Clarke named as Honorary Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering – 12 July 2011
Keith Clarke has been named an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. It is the peak of achievement in the engineering sector and a fitting honour as Keith prepares to stand down from his role leading Atkins to take up a new position as director of sustainability and chair of Atkins’ Middle East business.
Keith will retire from his position as chief executive of Atkins after eight years on 31 July 2011. He will be succeeded by Uwe Kruger, who has spent the majority of his career leading engineering and consulting organisations in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
