WEST SHORE BANK TO HOST A SAFE BANKING WORKSHOP GEARED TO HELP
PROTECT OUR ELDERLY AGAINST SCAMS
LUDINGTON, MI - West Shore Bank is teaming up with the American Bankers Association (ABA) and the Mason County Sheriff's Office for a two-hour workshop open to the public to help older adults and their families prevent elder financial exploitation. The Safe Banking Workshop: Protecting Our Elderly Against Scams will provide individuals with on how to detect and prevent financial fraud and the use of technology to spot red flags and report suspicious activity to authorities.
The workshop will be held on Thursday, October 27 at 12:15 p.m. at the Scottville Senior Center located at 140 S Main Street in Scottville, Michigan 49454. The event is free and open to the public. For more information or to register to attend, visit https://bit.ly/3QRkEQx. Seating is limited.
West Shore Bank continues to take a proactive approach to help customers and the public with the tools to face financial obstacles and challenges and detect and prevent financial fraud.
