Vocus Communications : Appointment of Interim Executive Director

Vocus Group Limited (ASX: VOC) (Vocus) announces today that Non- Executive Director Michael Simmons has been appointed to the full time role of Executive Director Corporate

& Wholesale Australia on an interim basis following the recent departure of former Division Director Matt Hollis. Vocus has commenced an internal and external executive search process to appoint a replacement for Mr Hollis.

During Michael's tenure as an Executive Director he will be entitled to receive remuneration commensurate with the position1, however he will not be paid Non-Executive Director fees during this period nor will he be eligible to participate in the executive short term or long term incentive plans.

Michael is well qualified for the role bringing over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, including as CEO of ASX-listed SP Telemedia Limited (SPT and now known as TPG Telecom Limited) for a period of ten years."
