Lake Victoria Mining Company, Inc. provided an up-date on exploration progress at the Company's Kiabakari East Gold Project located about 250 kilometers northeast of Mwanza in northeastern Tanzania. Kiabakari East is about 4 kilometers southeast of the past commercially producing Kiabakari Gold Mine. Geologically, the project lies in the central part of the Musoma-Mara Greenstone Belt and is the location of active artisanal gold mining. A limited number of new trenches, totaling 78.70 meters in length, were recently excavated across BIF Hill. The new trench results are the better gold grades are centered around an artisanal shaft on the southern side of BIF hill. Trench Results Trenches KT001a and KT007a were excavated on the western and eastern slopes of the hill respectively, and both trenches returned anomalous gold values, which allow an increase in the strike length of the mineralized zone to 180 meters and widths of up to 70 meters across BIF Hill. Soil Sample Results A soil-sampling program on a 200-meter x 50-meter grid is complete across the central and the southern parts of the license. Two artisanal locations, BIF Hill and Kyarano, located in the central and eastern parts of the permit respectively, are clearly reflected by gold-in-soil anomalies. At BIF Hill the soil anomaly extends to the southeast for about 1500 meters, and at Kyarano the mineralized zone, as defined by the artisanal shafts, extends at least 800 meters to the south before trending below an iron rich soil cover. Additional gold in soil anomalies are present near both prospects and these anomalies will require follow-up sampling. Drilling Plans A 1500 meter core drilling program is planned for both the BIF Hill and the Kyarano prospects. At BIF Hill, this program will involve holes drilled on a 40 meter N-S grid to define the geometry and plunge direction of mineralized structures. At Kyarano, three inclined holes are planned on 240 meter spaced E-W sections to test mapped mineralized structures for additional gold values.
