Statement
1.Date of occurrence of the event:2022/01/17
2.Cause of occurrence:Zhuhai Unicizers Industry Co., Ltd. (the subsidiary
of the company, hereinafter referred to as the ��the subsidiary��)
received notification of fine from the Zhuhai Ecological Environment
Bureau of Guangdong Province due to the waste storage did not fully meet
the requirement of National environmental protection standards which
against paragraph 2 of Articles 81 of the ��Law of the People's Republic
of China on the prevention and control of environmental pollution by
solid waste��. According to paragraph 6 of Article 112 of the act,
imposing a fine of RMB500,000.
3.Handling procedure:
Pay the fine within the time limit specified in the arbitration letter.
4.Anticipated possible loss or impact: RMB 500,000
5.Amount of insurance claims that might be obtained:None.
6.Improvement status and future countermeasures:The subsidiary has already
built a hazardous waste warehouse and utilized the facility to meet the
requirements of ��Pollution control standard for hazardous waste storage��.
Meanwhile, the production, storage, and disposal process of hazardous waste
treatment will comply with the requirements.
