Unifi, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended December 26, 2021. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 201.41 million compared to USD 162.78 million a year ago. Net income was USD 0.929 million compared to USD 7.46 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.05 compared to USD 0.4 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.05 compared to USD 0.4 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 397.4 million compared to USD 304.28 million a year ago. Net income was USD 9.61 million compared to USD 10.9 million a year ago. The Brazil Segment sells recycled and synthetic products to knitters and weavers that produce fabric for the apparel, home furnishings, automotive, industrial, and other end-use markets principally in Brazil. It offers polyester and nylon products, and recycled solutions.
