ULVAC, Inc. announced consolidated financial results for the nine months ended March 31, 2020. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 142,505 million against JPY 168,897 million for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 13,200 million against JPY 21,929 million for the same period a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of parent was JPY 10,993 million against JPY 17,272 million for the same period a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 223.06 per share against JPY 350.51 per share for the same period a year ago.
For the year ending June 30, 2020, the company expects net sales to be JPY 181,000 million. Operating profit is expected to be JPY 12,000 million. Net income attributable to owners of parent is expected to be JPY 10,500 million. Net income per share is expected to be JPY 213.06 per share.
Ulvac Inc is mainly engaged in vacuum equipment business. The Company operates through two business segments. The Vacuum Equipment segment is engaged in development, manufacture, sale and maintenance of sputtering equipment, organic electro luminescence (EL) manufacturing equipment, solar cell manufacturing equipment, winding type vacuum vapor deposition equipment, vacuum pump and measuring instrument. The Vacuum Application segment is engaged in development, manufacture, sale and maintenance of sputtering target materials, control system related equipment and analytical equipment.
