Twinlab Consolidated Holdings, Inc. announced that it has appointed Anthony Zolezzi to its Board of Directors, effective May 8, 2018. Zolezzi is an experienced executive and entrepreneur in the health and wellness industry. He is currently an operating partner at Pegasus Capital Advisors, a private, alternative asset management firm providing strategic growth capital to middle-market companies focused on the sustainability and wellness sectors. Zolezzi's career accomplishments include: starting the movement to lower the price of better-for-you products by creating a partnership between Wal-Mart and Wild Oats Marketplace; bringing Horizon Organic Milk to the masses through crafting a relationship with Starbucks; introducing the first pet probiotic with New Chapter, and creating Natural Pet Nutrition which was sold to Nestle.
Twinlab Consolidated Holdings, Inc. is a marketer, distributor and direct-to-consumer retailer of branded nutritional supplements and other natural products sold to and through domestic health and natural food stores, mass market retailers, specialty store retailers, on-line retailers, and websites. Internationally, the Company markets and distributes branded nutritional supplements and other natural products to and through health and natural product distributors and retailers. Through NutraScience Labs, it also provides services between private label distributors and contract manufacturers. Its services business involved the facilitation of manufacture of custom products.
