TurboSonic Awarded 2 Orders Totaling Approximately US$2.2 Million for Steel Mill Emissions Control

TurboSonic Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB – TSTA), a global provider of clean air technologies, today announced that it was awarded two orders totaling US$2.2 million to supply its proprietary SonicKleen™ Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) technology for reduction of particulate matter and control of visible emissions (opacity) from a steel producer’s hot reversing (rolling) mill and finishing mill fume exhausts. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in the fall of 2012.

The SonicKleen™ WESP and related components and processes are protected by multiple patents and patents pending and offers operators reduced maintenance, maximum uptime and reliability, and superior performance for reduction of fine particulate and acid mist emissions. Installed on diverse applications in industries including Wood Products, Mineral Processing, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Chemical Processing and Steel, the SonicKleen™ WESP is increasingly the choice of industry internationally. Recent orders for SonicKleen™ WESPs have come from the Chemical, Waste-to-Energy, Steel, and Wood industries, from customers in North and South America and Europe.
