Tohto Suisan Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the three months ended June 30, 2020. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 22,356 million against JPY 28,643 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 48 million against JPY 84 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 181 million against JPY 165 million a year ago. Earnings per share was JPY 46.02 against JPY 43.48 a year ago.
TOHTO SUISAN CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company engaged in the wholesale of seafood, the purchase and sale of fresh and processed marine products on the wholesale market, as well as the refrigerated warehousing, the manufacture and processing of marine products, real estate leasing and other businesses. The Company has three business segments. The Seafood Wholesale segment is involved in the wholesale of seafood. The Refrigerated Warehouse and Related segment is engaged in the refrigerated warehousing business, as well as the manufacture and processing of seafood. The Real Estate Leasing segment is engaged in the leasing of real estate properties and the establishment of wholesale markets.
