TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 9, 2012) - Timminco Limited ("Timminco") (TSX:TIM) announced that the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") has determined to delist Timminco's common shares effective at the close of market on February 6, 2012. The delisting was imposed due to Timminco's failure to meet the continued listing requirements of the TSX as a result of the commencement of proceedings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act on January 3, 2012 (the "CCAA Proceeding"). Trading in Timminco common shares, which has been suspended since January 3, 2012, will remain suspended until the delisting.
