The Far Eastern University, Incorporated announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended November 30, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported total revenue of PHP 1,139,915,116 compared to PHP 804,424,877 a year ago. Operating income of PHP 517,448,024 compared to PHP 277,593,386 a year ago. Profit before tax was PHP 524,018,058 compared to PHP 294,443,652 a year ago. Net profit was PHP 478,883,290 compared to PHP 268,590,472 a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share was PHP 28.17 compared to PHP 15.59 a year ago.
For the six months, the company reported total revenue of PHP 1,578,643,388 compared to PHP 1,179,758,853 a year ago. Operating income of PHP 489,463,351 compared to PHP 228,319,053 a year ago. Profit before tax was PHP 530,682,749 compared to PHP 290,037,740 a year ago. Net profit was PHP 477,561,700 compared to PHP 247,953,995 a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share was PHP 27.66 compared to PHP 13.86 a year ago.
