Tekla delivers Tekla Solution for water utilities to AS Tallinna Vesi in Estonia. The solution covers software for documenting and managing water and wastewater networks.
Tallinna Vesi will manage its network assets in Tallinn and the neighboring municipalities with network information system Tekla NIS, enabling the integrated use of network, maintenance and CRM data and facilitating better management of Tallinna Vesi's water and wastewater network.
Tallinna Vesi invited public tenders for a network information system, and after consideration of bids from several market leading providers, awarded the winning bid to Tekla. Tekla was chosen because of its industry expertise, best fit of the versatile software solution with Tallinna Vesi's existing systems and data, and the transparency and functionality offered by Tekla NIS. The contract was signed at the end of February, and the system will be in operation by the end of 2013.
