Techpoint, Inc. Announces Board and Committee Changes

On March 24, 2021, Koji Mori submitted to the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Techpoint, Inc. (the “Company”) his resignation as a member of the Board and any committees thereof, effective immediately.
On March 24, 2021, the Board appointed Noriko Tsujihiro, Ph.D. to serve as a member of the Board effective immediately. Dr. Tsujihiro will stand for election at the Company’s 2021 annual meeting of stockholders. Dr. Tsujihiro was appointed to the audit committee and compensation committee of the Board. Noriko Tsujihiro, Ph.D., age 52, has served as a project professor at Keio University since April 2015, where she manages research projects on economic security, and has served as director of E4 Strategies, an energy, environment and economy consulting firm, since January 2013. Dr. Tsujihiro currently serves on the board of directors of Ain Holdings, Inc., since June 2018, Hankyu-Hanshin Holdings, Inc., since June 2019, and VLC Holdings, Inc., since June 2019.
Techpoint, Inc. is a semiconductor company that designs, markets and sells mixed-signal integrated circuits for multiple video applications in the security surveillance and automotive markets. Its integrated circuits enable the transition from standard definition (SD) video to high-definition (HD) video in the security surveillance and automotive markets. Its application specific products include its security surveillance and automotive product lines. It offers three subgroups of products for security surveillance consisting of HD-TVI transmitters, HD-TVI receivers and HD-SDI receivers. Its automotive products include Automotive HD-TVI Transmitters, Automotive HD-TVI Camera Processors, Automotive HD-TVI Receivers and Automotive LCD Controllers. Its HD-TVI transmitters are used within the camera, take the HD digital signal from an HD camera processor and converts it to HD-TVI analog signals. Its HD-TVI receivers are used in DVRs and convert the HD-TVI analog signal into digital signals.
