Tatneft' imeni V.D. Shashina OAO : Network of TATNEFT's Filling Stations. Results of the Year

The filling stations chain of OAO TATNEFT increased by 19 filling stations in 2011. At the end of the last year the retail network of the Company included 641 filling stations with 511 of them located in the Russian Federation, while 128 stations were located in the territory of the Ukraine and 2 stations in the Republic of Belarus.

Quality control of petroleum products is performed at all stages of the fuel movement from the refinery to TATNEFT's filling stations. Initial checks are performed at the branches by special commissions and stationary certified laboratories as well as by persons responsible for the control and maintenance of the petroleum products quality. The second stage of control is carried out by the management company: a group of oil products quality control, a mobile laboratory and a permanent commission of technical experts.

Also the work is organized at the filling stations of TATNEFT Company on implementation of energy and resource saving technologies that ensure a minimal impact on the environment.

Modern developments and equipment (double-walled tanks, foreign made dispensers, automated systems of measuring parameters of the light petroleum products, vapor recovery systems, etc.) are applied during construction and reconstruction of the filling stations. Furnishing of the filling stations with modern equipment is part of TATNEFT's corporate policy.

Development of retail business is performed at the expense of constructing modern service stations, acquisition, upgrading and reconstruction of the existing filling stations.

The retail and small volume wholesale of oil and gas products through the network of TATNEFT's filling stations amounted to 1 million 800 thousand tons in 2011. All kinds of motor fuel, oils produced by OAO TATNEFT and tires manufactured by OAO "Nizhnekamskshina" are sold through the retail distribution network today.

Fuel cards of TATNEFT, as well as cards of some other partner companies are accepted for payment. Purchase of the fuel can also be paid through bank cards. Popular among customers is a discount card, which allows buying petroleum products with a fixed discount at the filling stations of TATNEFT in any region of the country. The filling stations also offer the customers a set of additional services such as free inflation of tires and vacuum cleaners usage.
