Taihan Textile Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 455.45 million compared to KRW 330.26 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 1,062.63 million compared to KRW 405.89 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 296 compared to KRW 113 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 296 compared to KRW 113 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 1,311.27 million compared to KRW 866.98 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 2,970.29 million compared to KRW 2,425.68 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 827 compared to KRW 794 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 827 compared to KRW 676 a year ago.
TAIHANTEXTILE CO., LTD is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the weaving, spinning and dyeing of fabrics. The Company operates its business in two segments: textile and construction. Its textile segment produces yarns such as cotton yarns, fancy yarns, vortex spinning yarns, velour yarns, melange yarns and slub yarns used for undershirts under the brand name of White Horse, as well as fabrics such as cotton woven fabrics and knit fabrics used for military uniforms, bedding interiors, shirts and jackets under the brand name RAINBOW. Its construction segment is mainly engaged in the construction of apartments. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
