SHKP's Shanghai ICC wins Highest Business Value Gold and Best City Complex accolades

Shanghai ICC by Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) won Highest Business Value Gold and Best City Complex honours at the third CBN Property Reporter Real Estate Awards, for superior planning, architecture, operation and management.

The CBN real estate awards are among the most credible on the mainland.  Shanghai IFC took two top spots in the last awards, and this time there were a record-breaking 108 residential and commercial projects in the Yangtze River Delta in the running.

Sun Hung Kai Development (China) Director Ted Tang said: "SHKP produces premium integrated commercial developments in keeping with its Building Homes with Heart philosophy.  We are proud to replicate yet another top Hong Kong project on the mainland with Shanghai ICC, following the successful Shanghai IFC.  The two landmark developments on either side of the Huangpu River resemble the Victoria Harbour Gateway in Hong Kong.  We are truly honoured by these awards."

Sun Hung Kai Development (China) Regional Leasing Director Rick Man was very pleased with the recognition.  He said: "Shanghai ICC is a top choice for business, leisure, dining and sightseeing.  The business hub above the metro is opening in phases, offering locals and visitors the finest there is."

Shanghai ICC is in the heart of the Puxi commercial zone and will have more than three million square feet (over 280,000 square metres) of floor area in two grade-A office towers, the IAPM shopping mall and deluxe ICC Residence.  It offers a prestigious business address and a metropolitan lifestyle.  The One Shanghai ICC office tower is almost fully let by multinational tenants including Apple, Adidas, Cargill and King & Wood Mallesons, while pre-leasing of the Two Shanghai ICC office tower will begin shortly.  The 1.3-million-square-foot (120,000-square-metre) IAPM mall began offering visitors innovative late-night shopping with its soft opening in August 2013.
