Suelopetrol CA SACA is a Venezuela-based oil company engaged in the research and development of activities for the petrochemical industry. The Company's main activities comprise the exploration and production of hydrocarbons, the operation of oilfields and the provision of technical support services. The Company operates two business units: Suelopetrol E&P, which focuses on the exploration, development and acquisition of oil and gas assets in Latin America, and Suelopetrol Services, which offers seismic data acquisition, processing and interpretation, drilling, logistics, reservoir studies and oil field management. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Suelopetrol Exploration & Production CA, Deltalog Servicios Logisticos CA, Asistencia Integral al Trabajador CA, Suelopetrol Seismic CA, Suelopetrol Corp, Suelopetrol International Services SA, Consorcio Ethapetrol CA, among others.
