Uwe Krueger Not to Stand for Re-Election to STR Holdings, Inc.'s Board of Directors

On February 12, 2013, Dr. Uwe Krueger informed STR Holdings, Inc. that he decided not to stand for re-election to its Board of Directors at the company's 2013 annual meeting of stockholders. Dr. Uwe Krueger has served on the Board since August 2010. Dr. Krueger will cease to be a member of the Board following the election of directors at the 2013 Annual Meeting.
